Iain

Office Manager

An East Lothian resident, Iain has been a key member of the team since he joined n September 2014, initially as a Caseworker, before his promotion to take on the duties as the Office Manager in the Hawick office. Iain previously worked as a Parliamentary Researcher for Midlothian North & Musselburgh MSP, Colin Beattie.

Simon

Senior Caseworker

Having previously worked for Paul in a research and casework role, Simon, who lives in the Scottish Borders, rejoined us in April 2020 from Age Scotland, after having also gained  great experience as Office Manager for Christine Grahame MSP, in the interim.  Aside from his keen interest in politics, Simon has a passion for languages, running the Peebles French Conversation Group. He also speaks German and basic Italian and Spanish.

Sara

Caseworker

Sara, who lives in Hawick, has been a valuable member of our team since June 2015, in her role as a Caseworker. A well known, local novelist and poet, Sara, who writes in both English and Scots languages, has had several books published and is also Poet-in-residence at the popular Damascus Drum Cafe in Hawick.

Amelia

Caseworker

A lawyer by training, Amelia who hails from Tweeddale, came on board in April 2020, since when she has hit the ground running on casework.  Amelia has had spells living in both Sweden and China prior to embarking on her part-time Caseworker role. Amelia loves hiking, mountain biking, reading and listening to podcasts.
